- Review the agreed slice of the system and discuss the important risks and trade-offs.
- Prioritize changes or further investigation within the two-hour review.
These are the decisions we work toward during the session. A written report, substantial pre-read, implementation and ongoing support are not included unless separately agreed.
When to choose something else
An exhaustive codebase or security audit. Use Architecture Audit when you need a broader assessment and an agreed written deliverable.
The boundary matters
- A focused 120-minute review; broader work is scoped separately.
- A session is a bounded review, not a comprehensive security audit. Larger reviews use Architecture Audit.

How to prepare
- Identify the exact component or decision, known concerns and the question the review must answer.
- Agree the review slice, any pre-read and secure access before the session. Do not paste private code into the inquiry.
